Get to know Samuel Peters
My Story: I’m a 18-year-old Canadian World Cup para-alpine skier from Kelowna, British Columbia, who began my skiing journey in 2015. I grew up skiing at Big White Ski Resort where I discovered, and developed my love for the sport.
In my first season competing in FIS, I made my World Cup debut at age 17 during the 2024–25 season, earning seven FIS podiums and four gold medals, marking the start of my international racing career.
The 2025–26 season represents my second FIS season, as I continue building experience and performance on the world stage.
My Brand:
My brand is built around high-performance sport, resilience, and representation. As a Canadian para-alpine ski racer competing on the World Cup circuit, I use my platform to showcase what is possible through discipline, consistency, and belief both on and off the hill. I aim to represent not just competitive excellence, but the broader impact of adaptive sport, inspiring the next generation of athletes while partnering with brands that value performance, authenticity, and purpose.
Digital Reach :
With over 100,000 monthly views across my social platform, I’ve built a growing and highly engaged digital audience that follows my journey as a World Cup para-alpine ski racer. My content highlights training, racing, travel, and the behind the scenes reality of competing on the international circuit all grounded in the mountain culture and values that shaped me. For sponsors, this provides an authentic opportunity to align with a high performance Canadian para-athlete while reaching both sport driven and lifestyle focused audiences.

I am proud to be an official Big White Ski Resort Ambassador, representing my home mountain as part of a select team of athletes, influencers, coaches, and more. The Ambassador Team includes accomplished athletes such as Kelsey Serwa (Olympic Champion), Tess Critchlow (Olympian), Ian Deans (former World Cup ski cross athlete) click here for full roster. Through my racing, training, and storytelling, I’m proud to help showcase Big White’s mountain culture on the world stage while inspiring others to pursue excellence in sport.
Beyond the Powder (2024)
I was featured in Beyond the Powder — Big White Ski Resort’s 2024 documentary supported by TELUS that explores the vibrant community, unique character, and the people who bring the mountain to life, including athletes and ambassadors who represent the resort’s culture and spirit.

I’m proud and grateful to be supported by HEAD, who has been with me since the start of my racing career. As I head into the 2025–26 season, my second FIS season and third season with their backing, I’m excited to continue building this relationship and representing a brand that stands for performance, innovation, and excellence at the highest level of the sport.

Not just an athlete. An Advocate for SafeSport
As part of the CSI Pacific Athlete Ambassador Program, I work alongside athletes from across British Columbia to promote safe, ethical, and inclusive sport. The program empowers athletes to serve as leaders, mentors, and role models through community engagement, storytelling, and education.
Through this role, I help raise awareness around positive sport culture while contributing to outreach that supports integrity, respect, and excellence in sport.
